Is virginity a big deal?

I have been chatting with a guy, so out of curiosity, i asked him if for him virginity is important. He answered that he does not mind that a girl is no longer a virgin, but i read articles that other guys mind. Does the concept of being virginity nowadays really important? Because we all have sexual needa and most of the time we seek it thru our boyfriends, some on one night stands.

who cares? the right guy won’t care about whether you’re a virgin or not. we as women need to stop caring so much about what men want and don’t want. what do YOU want?

I think different people are allowed to prioritize different things. For many religions having that connection with only your spouse is important (and also for a lot of non religious people). And that’s ok. It’s also ok to make your own choices and live the life that those choices lay out for you. As an adult you have the choice to do what’s best for you

For me personally, I would never be with someone who puts any worth in the concept of virginity. As long as you don’t currently have any STIs, no one is entitled to your sexual history

Absolutely not important. I can see if you’re religious or something and you were both saving sex for marriage…But for a non-virgin guy to care about a girl he is hooking up with being a virgin is disgusting and hypocritical

I personally do not at all believe in abstinence or only being with one person in your life at all. So no I don't think it's a big deal

I think guys care when they are considering a wife or a serious relationship. If they just want sex, anything goes. 
Most American men won’t care as long as they know you haven’t been sleeping around a lot and especially not with people they know.
