Anyone else feel like the new COVID rules are a bad math problem?

If you've been around someone within 6 feet who has tested positive for COVID what time will you arrive at your destination?

I legit am so confused and I know others are too. Like the fact it keeps changing is fine it is just so complicated and confusing. I'm curious how large families are navigating it and am worried people will do it too short or just ignore it because it's complicated.
