Do boys really find the opposite of their type attractive?

So I guess I’m feeling a bit confused right now. A guy wants to date me, but I’m nervous because I’m the exact opposite of his type. Before me, he has only dated voluptuous, beautiful black women, like Meghan the Stallion type of girls. Those are the types of Instagram models he follows too. I am the compleetteeee opposite, I’m white and pale as a ghost, have seen pieces of cardboard thicker than i am and on top of that I grew up out in the country vs the city. Idk why but it’s just so weird to me that he wants me when I seem to be the exact opposite of what he’s been looking for, if that makes sense. Please not saying I’m better or worse than his preferred type of girl but just that it’s a very big difference looks and personality wise I guess.
