Yeast infection?

So I get yeast infections once or twice a year usually and woke up with one last week and my usual monistat treatment didn’t get it this time. I went to my doctor and got the pill and it worked a little bit I’m still having symptoms. Will another dose of the pill work or could I have something else?

Answer

The pill works the same way as monistat in that it can take three days for relief and another few days to rid the infection. One pill works for 7 days. I would give it more time and if it doesn't clear up call and they will give you another dose. Sometimes it can take two doses to clear it
