Generally curious what the outcome of this poll will be. Since literally everyone I know has now had covid at some point during this pandemic. Fill free to leave a comment and let us know your experience with covid or this pandemic in general.

I have not. We keep a mask on where ever we go. It’s mandatory to wear a mask. Ofcourse not in restaurants and foodcourts. Even there when i’m done I wear my mask. Try not to sit in a crowded place. Orcoyrse I don’t wear mask at my family’s homes. Thank fully no one had to pass it on.

Yes, my family of four all had it last year and now myself and my son currently have it again. Thankfully the symptoms are manageable this time, thank goodness we got our Covid jags because they have certainly helped reduce the symptoms a lot.

I believe I had it in early March 2020, but can't confirm as there were no tests then. I never felt so sick in my life. As the days went by it got worse. I started out with high fever, chills & aches. I was coughing up a storm. I had the worst headache I ever experienced. I couldn't look at any source of light, it hurt so bad. I kept applying bio freeze like crazy. My throat hurt so bad I couldn't speak. I had a high fever that lasted a long time. I had a hard time sleeping. Thank god, I didn't have any breathing issues, which is what I was watching out for. I just felt like death. This lasted a week & 1/2-2 weeks. I remember one night I woke up absolutely drenched & the coughing stopped. It was like a light switch.
I still felt "off" both physically & mentally with lingering symptoms over the next few months. I've never experienced anything like that, which is why I believe that I had it.

Yes, everyone I know has had covid. My family just got over it a week ago. I still have a lingering cough. Most are vaccinated but still got it for the second time 😞

Yep. I am an icu nurse on the covid unit. Was bound to happen even with all our PPE and protocols. Had it in early fall of 2020, it was horrible and i was sick as a dog for weeks. I was Thankfully not around my family at that time as cases spiked so to be safe I stayed in a hotel for a bit to not put my family at risk and caught it then. Was nasty but at least I didn't need a icu bed.

Im 16 weeks pregnant fully vaccinated and STILL got Covid even with extreme precautions

Yeah twice, we got the first variant at the end of 2020 and we were very sick, and we just got over the last one I’m vaccinated pregnant and diabetic and I had very mildl symptoms like sore throat for a day and sneezing and some coughing… my husband is not vaccinated and he got it again like a bad flu but overall we had a better experience this time around

Nope. My husband had it in August 2020 eleven days before I gave birth. I didn’t catch it and neither did our one year old.
