Bit of background info - my boyfriend and I have been together for a year and I’m super shy and awkward whenever we have sex (I’m shy to begin with lol). I’m definitely a sub, but I like being on top sometimes except I always freeze up and get awkward. I’m really insecure about my body and I feel some performance pressure so I know there are a couple mental blocks going on. On top of that, I’m incredibly inexperienced in sex (he’s my first - at 22 lol) and I don’t watch porn so I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do when I’m riding 😂 Any tips on technique and/or how to get over the awkwardness?

Girllll I can relate to your post again! I’m the same way. What I’ve done to make myself feel more comfortable and “sexy” LOL we’ve used whipped cream or chocolate syrup. I’m also insecure when my clothes are off(trying to get better but still feels weird sometimes my bf is also my first) I’ve bought some cute lingerie to help me feel good and look good. Which he tells me he loves, so I’m like yes! SCORE 🙌🏽😅 We play some music in the background or like the tv show Friends to help control my nerves. 😂 I’d rather be laughing then get all tense and be anxious. Definitely would give reverse cowgirl riding on your toes a try until you get more comfortable. That’s how I am right now too and it feels less pressure facing away and I just focus on making us feel good instead of thinking about how I look or what he’s looking at. You can also guide their hand to go under your butt or hip for support or just feel you up, and it’s less on your thighs and knees with their support too. Another position like that is you standing at the end of the bed leaning back and facing away and them sitting at the edge. I also usually keep on a little skirt or something of that short in lingerie too.

I think we all struggle w it even being more experienced. My husband saw a meme that said women ride for 45 seconds and then their check engine light comes on 😂😂😅. He said it reminded him of me lol. I wasn’t mad because my legs start burning or I start climaxing and can’t keep going 😂. I’ve gotten better but he doesn’t expect me to go for long at all. One thing that helps me is holding on to the headboard for support. I also just switch into variations of riding positions - reverse cowgirl, on my feet, or w my feet over his thighs. 
All in all, don’t put too much pressure on yourself and remember that confidence is sexier than the perfect body. He loves u just the way you are so be confident and do what comes to you in the moment. Have fun with it.

Don't ride on your knees, plant your feet on either side of him And sit on him while holding on to his neck/shoulders to help stay up. Way easier on the knees but still a good workout🍑
