When did you announce?

Hey everyone, I’m about 7 weeks along and I’m just wondering when you all made your announcement to your family and friends. It’s becoming harder and harder to hide it (due to not drinking alcohol) and my friends and family will become suspicious soon. I want to be the one to tell them verses them finding out on their own. 
How early is too early to announce? I don’t think I’ll be able to hide it until 12 weeks.

I was sharing my whole ivf journey with everyone on my Insta from the day I started & the day I conceived. I announced as soon as I found out and confirmed through bloods 🥰

We announced to close friends and family at 5 weeks both times. Both times unfortunately I miscarried but I had their love and support ❤️ we celebrated together and we grieved together. I'll do the same next time because my babies deserve to be celebrated 🥰

For both pregnancies we told immediate family/friends after the the early scan we had. Which was around 8 -10 weeks

15 weeks. We had a lot of issues from the start. We told family a bit earlier though.

My side of the family I told them I soon as I got a positive test. My husbands side of the family I told them after my first ultrasound (6/7 weeks), friends I told at 12/13 weeks, then did a social media announcement at 14 weeks for extended family or friends I don't speak to on a weekly basis.
