Oversupply in one breast?

Is it possible to have an oversupply in only one breast? My left breast is fine, producing normally but my right breast constantly feels engorged, produces less than normal and is soo sore 😭 im exclusively pumping so idk if i should be pumping longer to help empty it or if that would make it worse...? I've been using a heat & vibration lactation massager before every pumping session but it doesn't seem to be helping.

How long have you been exclusively pumping? It sounds like you might have a clogged milk duct, if it constantly feels engorged even after pumping and is sore. How long has this been occurring? I’ve exclusively pumped for two of my kids and I’m an oversupplier so I am very prone to clogged ducts. Since your already doing vibration and heat, I would also recommend massaging breast before and during pumping session, I know it’s a little painful to do, but it helps loosen a clog if that is the issue. I take a sunflower lecithin supplement daily to help prevent clogs. It helps to “thin” your milk and make it easier to remove from breast. If I get a clog, I take it a 3-4x/day until the clog resolves. I buy it off Amazon. I have one breast that makes significantly more than my slacker breast, but am prone to clogs on both sides.
