Breastfeed or formula. My choice?!

So my best friend and sister are both acting upset and like I don’t love my child because I don’t want to breastfeed. 
Maybe the reasons behind it? Idk. I just don’t want to. Can’t I just simply not want to?

Absolutely. That choice is between a mother and her baby. No one else

It’s silly isn’t it, there’s much worse decisions you could make but that’s what they get upset about 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. I don’t know why people get so involved, it’s your body and your choice, you are mum, you don’t have to justify your decision to anyone. I don’t want to breastfeed either, I honestly hate the thought of it and literally just don’t want to and that’s the end of it, it’s not up for debate 🙂

Are your best friend and sister moms? Are they done having kids? 
I’m imagining that they either had a great breastfeeding experience and assume everyone wants that or they want that experience for you, because they loved it 
OR 
They are done having kids and want to live vicariously through you. 
But in a nutshell- you can do whatever you want . Fed is best and it’s hard for some to understand reasons etc

Yep you can do whatever you want! You’re bonding and feeding your baby just the same. I suggest looking at some instagrams like @fedisbestfoundation and @formulamom. They go over all of the important stuff of the difference in nutrition between breastmilk and formula (very minimal) and the importance of moms mental health! There are some other accounts that these two will lead you to as well. They review all different types of formula as well! It’s a great community to be a part of for support in your decision. I just remind myself that it’s easy to judge things you’ve never done. It is easy for them to judge your position but that is for them to carry not you ❤️

It's funny bc I remember when I had my first son and wanted to try and breastfeed nobody really supported that bc that wasn't something my family did. But luckily I've not had it either way and was surprised with this baby I just had that breastfeeding wasn't pushed bc that wasn't what I wanted to do

Of course you can choose that. There are some really nasty people on here that will try to tell you otherwise but fed is best!! We all are just doing the best we can, don’t ever let anybody make you feel bad for feeding your child the way you want.

Absolutely. You don't have to if you don't want to and you don't need to validate that choice to anyone. Thankful my best friend didn't shame me
