How long to cook meatballs?

Hey everyone, how long does it take to cook meatballs in sauce?

I make sauce and meatballs every Sunday, I always brown them for 20 mins in the oven, then simmer them for about 6 - 7 hours

Today was a crazy day, and I only put them in the sauce about 3 hours ago. They were in the oven for about 25 mins before that tho.

They are pretty big meatballs. I don’t have a meat thermometer, and they look cooked, but since they are covered in sauce it’s a little hard to tell if they look pink in the middle.

Is 3 hours on low long enough?
