both! me and my boyfriend go out to dinner. then we do something with my family a different day.

Depends. We see my family every Sunday so that’s when we celebrate with them and sometimes we go out to eat. Usually, he and I go to a wine tasting with friends that happens around that weekend every year.

My family lives an hour away so I only can visit on fridays during the semester. My moms birthday is five days before mine so we do a little joint celebration. I went out with my bf cause my birthday fell on a Monday or Tuesday
