How long does it take to detect STDs

So I currently got tested because I wanted to know if my current partner had anyway but I tested negative for everything…We we’re taking a break and seeing other people. I was with this guy the past weekend and I was drunk and we ended up having sex without a condom. I am going to get tested again but I am unsure if I should wait 4-5 weeks because I don’t know how long it takes to detect certain STDs. Do you think I should go immediately or wait?
