How common is it to wipe brown blood in first trimester?

I’m 6w1d and I just wiped some brown blood. I’m really nervous because I previously had a miscarriage… I’ve had one healthy pregnancy that went to term and I never had any spotting during that one.
How common is it for this to happen and for everything to be okay?

It’s common especially after a cervical exam, which is a good reason to decline. Brown = old blood

I had some around 7 weeks this pregnancy and hadn’t in my previous ones. Now 12w and everything is looking good. I had a miscarriage before my 2 kids so I know how you feel. I took it easy when I started spotting and called my ob to have a check up!
