I interviewed for a job I found out pays more then I ever have before with all kinds of benefits. It's also more then my SO of 13 years has ever made. We both work in the same field but he's always been a higher position so he's always made more then I have. I didn't have a job for months but I was over joyed when I left the interview because it was a giant relief and the interview seemed to go well. When I told my SO about it he sympathetically told me I probably wasn't going to get it. That was the first time I was really nervous about not getting it. I found out I got the job I just needed to do my background check and accept my offer letter. He had no reaction when I told him but I was honestly to happy to care. He knows I have been wanting to go out to eat at Bonchon because I've never eaten there but it smelled really good. So today he said when he gets off work he was going to take me out to eat there. A couple hours later I found out I start tomorrow at 1030. So I told him. His response?."I hope this job doesn't somehow lead you to leave me. " So I got more annoyed and told him he hasn't said anything good about this job and now he's saying somehow I'm going to now leave him because of it. He replied the he was a crappy human being, sorry for whatever he did, and he will give me money to go out and get something to eat tonight. But you know what? I'm not going to care. Chances are I will leave him and I'm still excited about starting my job tomorrow! I really hope I like it!
