My boyfriend came home after a super long hard day at work. He said he had a surprise for me when he got home.

When he got home he pulled out 2 little dog toys. They were very cute. But our dogs are over 100lbs and these toys are meant for little dogs and very much a choking hazard for our 2 big boys.

He went to cut them out of the packaging and I mentioned that we may want to get a larger size of the same toy so that the dogs didn’t choke.

He looked so upset and disappointed. He said it just ruined his day because he was looking forward to giving the dogs néw toys.

Now I feel like an ass for saying anything. I was just worried they would choke on them :( I said maybe we can try one of them supervised to see how it goes and he just shook his head and put them back in the car to return them.

I know he had a bad day at work so I think this was just the cherry on top.
