So this is based on a situation my friend is dealing with. But I was thinking about what I would do and really, no clue, so wanna hear opinions.

Picture this, you have a group of very good friends, y’all hang out together, do things together, share hobbies, talk to one another when in need of support etc. Two of the people in the group are dating. Person A and person B. It’s all chill, until person B cheats on person A and not only that, but completely dismisses person A’s feelings about it. They break up and person A doesn’t want anything to do with person B, including hang out with or even see them ever.

This of course puts everybody in a tough situation, because now they have to pick between person A and person B. Person A made it clear that they will not compromise on their decision as they were really hurt by person B.

What would you do?

Edit to clarify: I’m not the one involved in the situation. I don’t know neither person A nor B. I’m friends with somebody from their friend group who was sharing their feelings with me about being pressured to choose between their two friends.
