When I least expected it…

I feel like sometimes we get the things we want at the most comical times.

I had a miscarriage in November and we started trying in December, straight after it. We were unsuccessful.

We felt like we needed a break from the frustration and those negative feelings so we took a trip and decided not to try in January. We used protection the days the apps showed as fertile and had quite a bit of alcohol- no vitamins or folic acid (that I had been taking for 6 months).

During our trip I got an email asking me to interview for a job that I’ve been wanting for over a year. The recruiter randomly messaged, without me applying.

Right after we arrived home (a day before AF) I took a pregnancy test… just in case (to continue the tradition lol) and it was a BFN.

I had the first interview this Monday morning and it went amazing. Then I noticed my period was still not there (2 days late)… I must’ve ovulated late because I took a (few) pregnancy test(s) in the evening and 🌈. Hoping everything goes well this time. (And that the positiveness continues and I get that job 🤞🏻)
