CPS questions 😔 🥺
I fostered a couple teenagers a year ago. They had friends over quite a bit and because there were quite a few local teens that came over there were rumors that my house was the party house and that I bought alcohol for teens.
I never once bought alcohol or provided it to them, I wouldn't even buy anything for my 23 year old alcoholic sister.
So CPS showed up yesterday saying I've been accused of being the party house and providing alcohol to minors and neglected my 3 kids.
The teens I fostered moved out back in April of last year so no one's been hanging out here, ever once in a great while a couple of them would stop by to say hi but that's it. All of a sudden I'm getting a knock on the door and I'm curious if they can even go off information from a year ago or not?
I'm not worried because I never bought them alcohol (I don't drink but maybe once or twice a year) but there was a couple times some of them showed up to my house drunk. (I made them stay until they sobered up, also met everyone's parents etc, and there's one girls mom that has hated me for years even though she's never had a conversation with me 🙄)
(That girls mom was starting rumors that my house is a party house last year, she also said her daughter wasn't allowed here anymore and e eryone listened to that rule of hers, she moved in with her mom over the summer and recently moved back to her dad's and came by with her stepsister and their friend the night cps got the call (coincidence or what?))
I just want to know what could happen or what they're gonna do.. I've never had a case before and this is just BS ðŸ˜
