My daughter was born with a rare genetic disorder which makes her tongue oversized. This caused her to not be able to take pacifiers for a long time so she never did. She started sucking her thumb for comfort around 8 months and she’s now 2 and does it anytime she’s upset to comfort herself or when she’s going to sleep. Well she sucks it so much it is now completely red and raw.

What can I put on this because whatever I put there is no doubt going to end up in her mouth. What’s safe for this?
