After I was done with my period my discharge all of a sudden started to have a heavy burning smell to it which I never experienced before and ever since I have started drinking water which helped out a lot with the smell and today the burning odor is still there but faint. What could this possibly be?

Note: the discharge does not burn me physically it just has a burning smell to it.
