NICU stay IUGR

My baby was born with IUGR at 37 weeks weighting 4 pounds 1 oz. My placenta was thickening at the end of the pregnancy and she had very slow growth so Dr decided to bring her out. She came out screaming and didn’t need incubation. She is however in NICU. Right now they are waiting for some tests results to come back (torch and cmv). She passed her hearing test and has no symptoms other than just being small, IUGR and placenta thickening. They said they do this to every baby due to IUGR when they come out small. I am honestly horrified and very scared for my babies health. Anyone has any words of encouragement and experience? 😔 I cannot wait for her to be home and all these tests to be negative 🙏🏼
