My sons 18 month appointment is coming up and the list of concerns I have to present to the ped is ridiculous. Looking to see if anyone else has had these issues and if you have any advice.

- my son hates daycare. It is a nightmare to drop him off and he cries most of the day he is there. He switched to a toddler room 2 months ago and we thought it would help but he is still miserable there. We plan to talk to the ped and the teacher about this but we are just very stressed out about it and don’t understand why he hasn’t adjust there. He started almost a year ago.

- he is still not speaking. He will babble and make noises all day long but says zero words. We are going to ask for speech therapy when we go to the appointment.

- the picky eating is insane. They say to keep exposing them but I’m getting so tired of wasting food and do I give him what he wants because he needs to eat? Or if he doesn’t eat what he gets he just doesn’t eat? This age is weird and I’m just not sure what the right decision is.

Feeling like a failure as a mom. 😔
