Baby detergent

Hi! So to put it abruptly; I’m poor. And detergent is expensive so we make our own powder kind its a mix of a few things. How necessary is baby detergent? Should I for sure be buying some or is it only necessary if baby has very sensitive skin. I’ve seen mixed things. Some people think it’s a scam and some people swear by it.

Baby detergent is definitely a scam, but you should still be using nontoxic fragrance free detergent for the whole family. Molly’s Suds is reasonably priced because it lasts forever and it’s one of the safest options available.

Baby laundry detergent is completely unnecessary! I recommend using any brand you want, but buy the “free and clear” unscented, it’s better for babies sensitive skin than all the dyes and fragrances.

Definitely a scam! I am allergic to things like Dreft because of how scented it is. Not good for baby. I always just use what the whole household does.
