How to let go

I love my boyfriend but he keeps showing me things I don’t appreciate. He’s punched holes in walls. Ignored me around the house no affection doesn’t know how to communicate. He snatched my phone from me. Jumped on me like literally all of his body weight when he was mad multiple times in a row. Etc. he’s told me that he’s using me because he doesn’t have to pay full bills. He said “I can’t promise you I won’t hit you one day” I’m just sad how people can treat someone they “love” like this. I have my daughter he has a son but I wanted something real with a partner. I’m sad about the kids parting. I can’t keep letting him hurt me. I just don’t know how to let him go. I keep breaking up with him but I keep feeling bad or something and get back with him and it’s my apartment so I can’t just leave. Any tips for me?
