Is there a big difference from 2 to 3 years old?

My lo is 2 and into everything, pulls at cords , puts everything in her mouth, opening closing the fridge. Is this just part of her personality or is this a age thing? Just wondering if by 3 they stop getting into everything.

A lot of people say 3 is even worse than 2 because they’re bigger and smarter but not actually better behaved 🤣

My 3 year reminds me of being in my early 20's and trying to negotiate with/corral one of my drunk friends to do something. Even if it's something he likes or is in his best interest he will argue with me. So yes it's different but not necessarily better 😂

Hands down 3 is worse than 2 for my son. No more putting stuff in his mouth but the attitude is off the walls

Yes, 3 is basically living with satan. My dad always told me “the terrible 2’s start when they turn 3,” and he was absolutely right.

My child has never been horrible but the big difference I have noticed is attitude and words. At 2 there was talking but not enough to describe emotions or whatever. At 3 all the words are going all the time. And the personality...my god the personality. My oldest just turned 3 and is still polite and kind and sweet but soooo dramatic at times and can be so sarcastic. So the amount of personally and words that come with that seems to be the big difference.

2.5 year old here, I get the impression their curiosity increases with their newly acquired knowledge and physical abilities, so I'm guessing, expect more shenanigans. We just work hard to teach her what things are for and set boundaries about dangerous stuff🤷‍♀️
