Can I be induced at 40 weeks instead of 41????

I'm petite 105 pounds now I'm 128 
And last 2 kids were before 39 week mark.
This time I'm already 39 and if I don't go she said she'll induce me at 41. But I really don't want that can't I be atleast induced at 40 weeks instead????
Do you think Dr will say yes or it's just like a policy or something??..... I'm getting so annoyed and impatient and don't want to push out a big ass baby after even 40/41 weeks what the hell!

All of the OBs I've seen have been willing to induce at 39 weeks 🤷🏽‍♀️

It doesn’t hurt to ask. A lot of times it’s the hospital’s policy and no the doctor. Good luck 💕

I think it depends on where you are, my OB starts induction of twins at 37 weeks & singletons at 38 weeks. But all Dr’s & offices are different

It may be a drs preference. My sister was induced at 39 with her 2nd and 3rd.
