I had a first degree tear no stitches. I was so scared to look down there and just never looked until a couple days ago when I felt swollen and raw. I saw the tear and it doesn’t look healed together. Now for the past 2 days it feels raw and uncomfortable to walk. I called my midwife and they scheduled me for a check up on Tuesday. Did this happen to anyone else this long after birth? I’m trying not to worry but I’m just scared it’ll never feel normal again. Or that it might take even longer to heal if somethings wrong.
