Gender blood test was wrong?!

I had my ultrasound today for gender. My invitae gender test was wrong it said I was having a boy, But I’m actually having a girl. I’m shocked I had a boy 9 months ago so maybe his dna is still in my body somehow. It’s so weird I thought the test was always accurate?

They told me if you’ve ever had a baby it gets less accurate. But congrats on a boy and a girl!

That test is for sure NOT always accurate. When done *perfectly* after week 10, 1-2 out of every 100 will be wrong. If you account for human errors while drawing sample and other factors (like a recent miscarriage), it’s even less accurate.
