Is this crazy

Hi guys, I usually just put my change in this little safe because I don’t use cash that often and when I do it’s every blue moon. I decided to count my change tonight and I have $17 dollars in change ? Will the bank accept it or should I just keep it ? Does that look bad ?

I just want to get rid of it.

Idk where you are but we save our change and every few months take it to a CoinStar in an Albertsons. They have a multiple options but we usually choose a gift card to Amazon. Idk if it's the same everywhere but they don't take out any money if we choose a gift card

We do this. The one at Walmart will give you cash. Some banks have them too. The ones at the banks dont usually charge a fee.

I use United credit and they have a money machine that just prints you a ticket of how much change and you just take it to them and get cash🤷‍♀️

Buy the paper coin rolls and deposit it that way or some banks have the coin machines in them and it prints out a receipt, take that receipt to the counter and it gets deposited into your account

Depends on your bank, I worked for one and if it was more than a few dollars it needed to be rolled and we didn’t do that for you lol
