Worried about baby

I know someone who just had a baby. Her home is not fit for a newborn, especially a preemie with a colostomy bag. She had no safe place for baby to sleep. I’m worried about sids. She is constantly asking for things on Facebook like food and for someone to help her with rent. She’s been on drugs and I’m not sure if she is still on them or not. She tried to sell the babies car seat recently.

Today she is supposed to be able to bring the baby home so she says. Her first child already got removed from her custody for neglect.

Will CPs already be involved and check to make sure the baby will be safe? I’m worrying myself sick.

***i don’t think she used drugs throughout her whole pregnancy just the first 2 months. She didn’t know she was pregnant until she was around 3 months pregnant. Worried she’s starting to use again though. I don’t think the court systems or doctors know about her drug usage.
