Anyone else one and done out there? Need advice.

I had a very difficult pregnancy/ labor & delivery, and when my son was a newborn he had a 10 day hospital stay with surgery. Needless to say, I’m traumatized lol. He’s approaching a year old and I honestly have 0 desire to have another baby…..ever lol. I like my small family, and our house we just purchased fits us perfectly. However, all I keep hearing is baby #2 this and that….it’s so annoying! How do you deal with the outside pressures of having another baby and overcoming the guilt of not giving your child a sibling?

Honestly considering it. I go back and fourth because I would like my son to have a playmate but my pregnancy was high risk and terrible and my labor and birth was a nightmare. Breastfeeding and PPD have torn me up from the inside out. Honestly most people know my sons birth story so they don’t ask but if they did I would just be honest and explain that our family is complete just the way it is and I don’t feel the need to put my body through that again. I don’t really understand why people feel they need to ask about baby number two or three or even when you’re going to have a baby at all. I had someone ask me recently if we were ttc number two and I was like 😑 I’m 3 months postpartum from an emergency c section.
