Venting sessss

So at the beginning of the week I had asked my friend if she was interested in setting up a play date for Friday. I text her the night before and she says her hubby tested positive for Covid. OF COURSE, I was like omg hope you guys are ok, lmk if you need anything etc. before anyone says anything yes I’m crazy. The next day ( Friday ) in the morning I was on Snapchat and sometimes you can see your friends location, I went on hers just to see her story and just happened to see she was at this kid place we’ve gone to together in the past. I’m not upset she lied I just don’t understand the point? If you don’t wanna hang out just say that. It just makes me go oh, so you’d rather lie and say you have Covid then hang out? I’m pretty understanding I just don’t appreciate being lied to especially when you don’t need to lie.
