Does anyone here run into the same problem? My 2 months old son likes to sleep on my chest not on his cot.He cries or wakes up every time I put him in his cot.Any suggestion pls

Have you tried a swaddle? Baby boy loves your scent and being close to hear your heartbeat. With my first, she's startled easily so I think a swaddle would help

Thank you everyone. I followed all your advices and it worked. I was hesitant to swaddle my baby due to my family (culture). They told me it’s not good.But I am doing it now and he’s been sleeping since in his cot.

A sleep therapist explained it as a comfortable/familiar thing. 
We get used to falling asleep in our bed, so when we travel, we have a harder time sleeping in a different bed. 
She's used to sleeping on you now, so she will be uncomfortable with anything else. 
The sleep therapist said however you want your baby to sleep at night, is how they need to go to sleep everytime. If she falls asleep in your arms, put her in her cot. Swaddling does help.

I had the same issue with my daughter. It took me a while to put her down: just practice putting him down everyday when he is drowsy but awake. I would also recommend the online course « taking Cara babies »: she has tons of useful tips that work.

Yes swaddle, sound machine and your t-shirt fitted on the bottom of the crib for your smell (never tried but our nurse said to do it if baby was a bad sleeper).
