Is this stupid?

My husband and I got married very quickly. Within a week. We had a throw it all together super quick kind of wedding and I’ve always dreamt of planning and having a wedding. Not big or anything but just not spur of the moment you know? Anyways, would it be dumb or weird if we renewed our vows and had an actual wedding on our 5th anniversary? 
I feel like I should add that we did have family there and stuff so it was like a wedding.

Not weird at all! My husband I got married in secret and then planned an actual wedding a year later. We just let them know we were already married and we’re doing a ceremony, no paperwork

Not weird at all my parents have done that twice and have they loved it. They kind of threw things together and got married super quick as well haha and they did a backyard party style twice after they bought their home. In my opinion not weird at all

My husband and I got married at the courthouse since family wasn’t able to be around (we had to move out of state for his job) and for our 5th anniversary we renewed our vows and had a small wedding. We had a small cookout afterwards for a reception. We had a huge reception party for our first anniversary so we didn’t want to go too big again after the ceremony

Not at all! That was similar to my wedding. Lol  Our 10 year anniversary is this November & we're planning on a vow renewal with an actual reception & ceremony. We're excited to include our 4 kids! We only had our oldest when we got married, she was 2

I had a friend renew hers for their first year - they had a shotgun marriage and just signed at a courthouse. Her wedding she planned it out and did the whole works, it was beautiful.

We had a lovely wedding a few years ago, but haven’t been able to celebrate any anniversaries since due to health issues and family issues. We plan on renewing our vows in a few years and having a big celebration then. Do what you guys want!
