4 year old obsessed with the potty

Has anyone experienced their toddler being obsessed with potties? My son is 4 and recently started being great about going potty. He use to be terrified of public bathrooms until recently and likes using them but also flushing the potties and the shapes on the doors and always talks about them and any store we go into he needs to point out the potty.

My mother in law thinks it is weird and he should be evaluated for autism. I got him tested and they don't think he has autism but that he is ODD and OCD.

I feel like I'm losing my mind and need some advice.
