Surprised at egg retrieval results

So I had my egg retrieval today. My last ultrasound was on Friday and based on the results then the doctor predicted we should be able to get 0-4 eggs. I had a total of 9 follicles out of which 5 were less than 12mm, one was 19 and the rest were around 14.

To our surprise today, the doctor was able to retrieve 8 eggs. How is that even possible? Dcan follicles grow that fast? They were extremely small … <12mm, some around 8. I don’t get it.

This was my 2nd IVF, did it back to back. First retrieval resulted in 3 eggs out of which 2 were mature, one fertilized but didn’t get to blastocyst. After that, for ky2nd IVF doc added omnitrope, COQ10 and DHEA. I am wondering if a combination of all these led to the sudden fast growth? I know I should wait till tomorrow but any thoughts on what’s really going on here? What can I even expect.?? Please help if you have seen anything like this before.
