How many eggs with IVF?

My husband and I just paid for our first retrieval and I am scared and excited at the same time. How many eggs were they able to retrieve from you? I am afraid they won’t get any viable eggs

24 retrieved, 23 mature, 22 fertilised and 9 made it to frozen. Don’t be scared! Stay positive 🤍

Wow all these women were amazing egg makers… we were not so lucky. They were able to retrieve 8. 5 were mature and fertilized. 3 made it to 5 day blast and 2 were genetically tested as normal. We just transferred one on 1/19 and are pregnant, hoping that everything continues to go well.

Hi!! I had my retrieval last Sunday and they got 19 egg, 16 were matured, 16 were fertilized, and 14 made it to Blastocyst!! It depends on how your body responds to the STIMS medications.

I had an unusually high number and I have no idea why. The day before on ultrasound they saw about 30 but on retrieval day they got 55, 48 mature, 44 fertilized with ICSI, 25 made it to day 5 blast and 10 normal after PFT testing. Everyone’s body is so different but wishing you the best of luck!

I’ve done 4 rounds:
1 - 15 eggs, we did egg sharing so only kept 8 of them, 1 blastocyst 
2 - 8 eggs - 2 blasts
3 - 11 eggs - 3 blasts
4 - 11 eggs - 4 blasts 
It all comes down to quality not quantity at the end of the day. We weren’t successful until our 4th retrieval, and suddenly got pregnant with twins after so many failures, even though we didn’t have anymore eggs collected than other rounds.

I had 8 eggs, 7 were mature, 4 made it to blastocyst and 3 were PGS tested normal. Currently pregnant with our first FET at 27 weeks. Everyone is different and remember, it’s not quantity, it’s all about quality! Good luck to you!!

We got 21 eggs and after blast stage we ended with 8. We transferred 2 embryos but only 1 stuck my little ivf miracle just turned 1 in December!

Hi! I had 25 retrieved, 21 mature, ended up with 11 blasts. I did three frozen transfers and I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant with a little boy.
