My insurance approved me for the pumps

Question

I wanted a spectra pump. But idk about these. I up am not due till August but I was wondering what pump on my approved list a a good one? 
I used a pump one or two times 5 years ago with my daughter and stopped because it was uncomfortable and my milk collected in the flange and spilled onto my chest. It was the Medela pump. 
My goal is to EBF but if that doesn’t workout I want to pump. So please let me know what y’all think! Thanks

I didn’t have any luck with the medela pump in style. I was an over producer and exclusively pumped and it didn’t seem to remove the milk fully even with change phlange sizes and stuff. I had a spectra with my second and it was amazing!!! I’d go with the Motif if it is similar to the Spectra.

I have the motif Luna and I love it. It used the same spare parts as the Spectra and from what I can tell is very similar to it.

I went with a Spectra for my last kid and this time I'll be getting a Motif Luna with battery. The settings and many features are pretty much the same.

Of these, I’d go with the motif Luna. Make sure you measure your nipples so that you can buy the correct size flanges. Incorrect size flanges can cause pain

Have you checked other breast pump companies besides aeroflow? I was going to use aeroflow as well and the pump I wanted had a $95 co pay through them so I decided to keep looking. I came across the pumping essentials website and ended up getting the pump I wanted for a $0 copay. In the past I've only ever used Medela pumps and had good luck with them but I was going to try either a spectra pump or the Elvie stride since that one is still hospital grade strength. I decided I really wanted a cordless option to not be tied to a wall if I have to pump because this is baby #5 and I have to be able to help him and our other kids if needed so I went with the Elvie and I do still have an old Medela pump if I need it. Both the spectra and Elvie were $0 co pays through pumping essentials but I know it depends on insurance. I believe I used byrum healthcare in the past for the Medela pumps - it's been over 3 years now.
