Would you be annoyed if your spouse/partner worked 24 our shifts and didn’t text or call you the entire time?

Keep in mind they have several breaks throughout the day and it’s not a demanding job. And they are on Facebook/social media most of the day. But from the time they leave until the time they get back 24 hours later it’s like you don’t exist.

No? They probably need a break to themselves. It's normal. My husband works 10-12 hour shifts as a diesel mechanic and he's only called me once when he was on lunch but I don't care if he doesn't call me at all. 
I get that maybe he needs time to himself before he goes back to work and to be honest I need time to myself too

Depends on your relationship...for me would not care. When dating me and my now husband would go a few days without any communication if we were working or busy. Even now married not like we text while he is at work. If it is important to you you can bring it up but maybe it is just his personality. Personally for me when I worked I used my breaks to not be on a screen and just relax some when I had jobs that required computers or screens all day. So it wouldn't bother me but as it bothers you them it might be worth bringing up ad your feelings are valid.

It depends on the type of relationship that y’all have. 
I would be annoyed, especially if my SO worked 24 hour shifts.
My SO and I text one gif emoji (sometimes silly, sometimes cute!) around lunch time to each other while we work just to basically say “I’m thinking about you.” Sometimes he calls, I don’t call because his job requires use of both hands. That’s what we’ve been doing for years, even if it’s a two minute conversation or again, one text. 
I think a simple gesture to let your SO know you’re thinking about them in a 24 hour period (at least a couple of times out of the week) is not too much to ask for.
Your husband does need his rest but you mention his job is not high demand. He’s prioritizing scrolling on social media and not checking in on you. I’d say something. That’s just me 🤷🏽‍♀️

No, but we both work EMS so some days we have to prioritize eating and sleeping over anything else. We understand some days get busy and you genuinely don’t have time to text.
