How old was your child when they started playing with other kids (not just side by side)?
My son’s daycare has said he will sit with the group for group activities and will sit alongside others doing drawing, puzzles, etc. but he’s not actively playing with any kids in the yard or in free play. He turned 3 in November. He has attended daycare since he was 6 months so has had social contact through the pandemic.
