How long after retrieval is FET?

Once retrieval is completed how long do you wait for the FET?

My clinic does the next cycle but every doctor has a different protocol. Our retrieval was in September, FET in October.

Retrieval was July 20 and transfer was Sept 14th.   It was 6 weeks from post retrieval CD1.

I had my retrieval on June 17th and had my FET on August 18th. We did genetic testing so that delayed us 3 weeks and my doctor was on vacation in July so we got pushed to August. My clinic also only does retrievals and transfers during one week of each month so that’s why we had to wait till mid August. Honestly though, it was kinda nice having a break from all the needles and blood draws for those 2 months and by the time my transfer came, I was ready for more pokes. Haha! Good luck!!

I have to wait till my next flow(which is today) and I’m starting my process. Transfer should be set for 3/16 hopefully. 🤞🏼Had my egg retrieval January 30th.

I think it depends on the clinic etc. I had my retrieval on 7/12/20 and my first FET was on 10/19/20; I had 2 levels of genetic testing on my embryos so that was all completed 8/6/20. My office required an FET consultation with the MD and they were pretty busy so that was the first week of September and then had to wait for my cycle to start. That FET was unsuccessful but I was able to do another one in December that did work!
