6 weeks 🍼

Lauren

Hi all, this is my first pregnancy and based on my LMP date, I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I hardly have any cramping during the day but when I go to sleep and wake up and turn over in the middle of the night, I have a really bad intense period like pain in my central lower stomach, that can last a solid few minutes. The pain seems to stay the same for those few minutes and I find the only thing that soothes it is a hot water bottle. It only seems to happen the once during the night but it's literally every night without fail and has been for the last 2 weeks. I spoke to my drs but they said cramping is normal and they aren't concerned as I haven't bled at all. Of course with it being my first pregnancy I'm just super aware of everything and worry all the time! I've read that mild cramps are normal but this seems so much worse than period pains I've had before, I just don't know what is deemed 'normal' or not 😂 I have my first midwife appointment in 2 weeks so hoping so get all these questions out then but if anyone has had any similar experiences or know why the pain could be so bad early on I would greatly appreciate it 🥰
