Fly or Drive with 1 month old?

Rebecca

My husband and I are making a trip to the east coast and it’ll be a 25 hour drive for us. Our baby will be a month old by then and I’m unsure how it’s gonna be for her. We really want to go, because he’s about to deploy for 9 months and his family won’t be able to see her for a while because I work full time and don’t know when I’ll be able to take her to see them. Plane tickets right now are astronomically expensive (well over $2,000 for us), I don’t want to subject her to a nasty airport, or get fussy and frustrated from the airplane and the elevation. I’m all for driving but I’m curious if you guys think it’s worth it to pay for the plane tickets or to do the drive and just take it slow to accommodate our baby as much as possible.
