Annoying MIL 😐

Y’all my mother in law has such a weird attachment with her son. This type of behavior/comments is so common from her. It drives me crazy 🙃🙃🙃 How do you deal with a weird attachment like this?.. She gets upset if she hasn’t heard from him in 3-4 days, if she hasn’t seen him in a few days she makes comments on how he needs to come around more and that she hasn’t seen him “in soo long” HOW. How do y’all deal with it? She micro manages me when we are around because ✨obviously✨ I’m not good enough. Is this not strange to anyone else or am I just easily annoyed?
