Praying for my family 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦

*THIS IS NOT POLITICAL*

I don't want this to turn into a political bashing from fellow Europeans, Americans or anyone if possible. My family lives in Kiev and among all the news lately I just hope no matter what people are of opinions of we can pray and hope for people to be safe and for no actual war to happen. Kiev is an amazingly beautiful and cultural rich place I was glad to call home until I was 22 and moved to finish my schooling in London. My family is still there as my mother is a midwife amd wont leave her moms and my father takes care of his parents who cannot leave for health reasons. I am praying for them nightly and as unhealthy as it probably is have every single news app downloaded and giving me alerts so I know if something happens. I hope this is another all talk and no actual war situation because while Ukraine isn't perfect by any stretch itnis beautiful as are many of the people. So please think of the people there and pray (if you are so religious) for no harm and a blow over. And please refrain from political bashing as there is enough of that all over...this is about hope and coming together.

**My family is stockpiling as much food and 1st aid supplies as they can get. The "peacekeepers" as I keep seeing them called have crossed the border. As far as we are concerned we have been invaded. Please hope for a swift end and for this to go no farther. We are making plans on how to get family across another border if need be....I hope it doesn't come to that but brainstorming ways to get them to me in London if worst case happens. European peace ended today, please pay attention and hope/pray for a resolution. I don't want any of my fellow Ukrainians harmed nor the Russians. I want peace and my loved ones safe and the beautiful country I love left unmarred. Thanks for all the kind words on here. It makes my heart sing to know people care.

***explosions have begun. My family has been trying to stay in contact but is not easy. My family is trying to figure out medical transport for my grandparents but are finding it hard. I hoped it wouldn't come to this but now to sit back and wait is devastating. I pray this is over fast and I get my family to London and can hug them soon. I will be praying non stop for the safety of everyone. I mourne tonight for my beautiful Kiev...
