Probablu going to get some unfavorable comments but whatever. I am annoyed and worried that my state is lifting the mask mandate March 30. I work at a chain grocery store that is pretty popular because it’s the only grocery store within miles so it’s Always packed. Anyway, back in December I got hired and have been working there since then, and once in a while I would see a mask less person but not often. Now, I see several per day. They come through my line and I’m a cashier, so it makes me feel very unsafe. I also don’t feel comfortable denying them service, because of the story of the one cashier who got shot and killed after asking a customer to put a mask. I got Covid back in January and I don’t want to get sick again, i hated the feeling of isolation and it took a toll on my mental health. Worried that I might just have to quit if we implement no masks. I can still wear mine of course, but I am worried that I can still get sick. I ordered some N95 masks and will be wearing those instead of cloth.
