D&C today 💔

Today i had a d&c for my missed miscarriage baby stopped growing at 7weeks. Waited two weeks to see if it would pass naturally but unfortunately it didn’t. Doc prescribed me estrogen to take for the next few days to prevent scarring on my uterus? Anyone else have this happen to them ? Also any advice on what to expect ? When was the earliest you have TTC after a d&c with success. Doc tells me it is a good thing this happened because something was wrong with and it is very unlikely to happen again but my heart is so broken . Any advice helps Thanks
