Is the Vicks humidifier good for a 2 month old baby?

I have this one and usually I buy the Vicks little packet to  put in the humidifier and I’m wondering if this is safe for my 2 month old? He has a cough with mucus.

I love these humidifiers!! This is what we have. This is what the back of the package for the lavender ones says. They also make one for kids. I would just double check to make sure that you can use the pads in the humidifier for a baby that small.

When they are that little I would keep them away from this. Try some natural remedies like cut up onions, it's creat against coughing. Just put them in a musolin cloth and hang it next to the bed.

The machine is fine, but don’t add the Vicks packets to it! 
They have Vicks specifically for babies though that you can put on her to help. :)

Not recommended until age 3 and Vick's is only intended for age 6 and up. I would NOT put it near a child of that age.

That’s a great humidifier to use, just don’t do the Vicks pad in it until the baby is older.

The humidifier is fine but do not add the vicks packet to the machine. Babies can't use vicks until around 2 I think. However, you can buy chest rub, we use Zarbees chest rub, that is safe on babies 2 months and older. And then you won't have to worry about using vicks at all
