headaches from spinal block?

i had a cerclage put in on monday, they used a spinal block to do it and ever since i've been getting bad headaches. i'm 14weeks and 5 days pregnant so i don't know if it's pregnancy related or from my spinal block. i sent a message to my doctor about it and i'm still waiting on a response. has anyone had this? it was off and on but today it's been all day, gets better when i lay down but as soon as i get up it gets worse and tylenol is not helping at all.

Sounds like a spinal headache. Usually they resolve on their own. Sometimes a blood patch might help. My ex husband had a spinal block once that led to a spinal headache. He ended up getting 2 patches before it finally worked and the headache went away. Rest, stay hydrated, doc may suggest drinking something with caffeine (like a can of Pepsi. Well within the daily limits for pregnancy.)

It could be, mine was unbearable I was vomiting and no medication helped. I had to get blood patch and within couple minutes after my blood patch, the headache was gone.
