Have you ever done Jury service?

I so wish I was called in to do this, it would be great experience.

It’s no walk in the park if you’re selected for Criminal Court. I was a juror on a case where 2 people were murdered with a shotgun & the homeowner shot & killed one intruder(drug theft attempt). We convicted the man. As a juror we had to watch crime scene footage- like look at what a shotgun does to a human. It was awful. And listening to the lies by the perp made you sick. I hope the perp cleans up & changes their ways. But their actions ripped a wife & son from this earth. Guilty by proxy/association.

I’ve been summoned twice but have been dismissed both times! For those of you who have been summoned and don’t want to serve, try rescheduling for December! It almost always gets cancelled!

I did grand jury about 20 years ago. It was interesting but definitely difficult hearing some of those cases.

Called in to show up, wait around and then was dismissed. Never actually sat on a jury. Would be interesting though depending on the case.

Yes I have been called 4 times but I’ve only had to go in two times I was called. Both times I got let go.

If you live in Baltimore you will be called to serve jury duty every year unfortunately. The few years I lived there I was called every year.
